Boston Anarchist Potluck / Release Party for the 'Northeastern Anarchist'
25 Jul 2001
Modified: 08:53:54 PM
Those of us from the Sabate Anarchist Collective cordially invite all local anarchists (and anarchist-friendly activists) to come and share food, socialize, and network at our magazine release party.
Boston Anarchist Potluck / Release Party for the 'Northeastern Anarchist'

Friday, July 27th, 7pm
at the Lucy Parsons Center,
549 Columbus Ave., Boston
tel:(617) 267-6272
(nearest subway stops are the Mass. Ave. stop on the orange line, and the Symphony stop on the green line; the #1 bus also runs nearby).

Those of us from the Sabate Anarchist Collective cordially invite all local anarchists (and anarchist-friendly activists) to come and share food, socialize, and network at our magazine release party.

This event will be an opportunity to meet with other local anarchists and activists, and further strengthen ties within Boston's radical anti-authoritarian community (or lack thereof). It will also serve as an opportunity to have a formal release party for the summer issue of 'The Northeastern Anarchist'.

We will also be showing the film "Prague 2000: The IMF and World Bank Under Seige" (and maybe some other short films from Quebec if people are interested).

This event is free, but we encourage people to bring food and drink to share (and to buy a copy of the magazine!).

Solidarity Through Laundry!
25 Jul 2001
On a side note, if anyone has any articles of clothing covered in red paint from Monday's protest at the Italian consulate, please accept our humble apologies.

Solidarity and responsibility are important aspects of anarchist theory and practice. Accordingly, we ask for people with paint-stained clothes to bring them to Friday's event at the Lucy Parsons Center, and we will see to it that they get washed.

Offer not valid for police or federal agents.
removing paint
25 Jul 2001
hey for everyone going to the potluck and those who will wash clothes at home, maybe this will help:

housepainters use this stuff called "simple green" to get paint out of their hair,
hand cleaner (the kind that comes in a little tub) for their skin,
and paint thinner for paint that's dried on clothes.

Don't use paint thinner on your skin or hair, OK?

Have fun tomorrow,
Love,
S>
