Their Revolution Has Already Started
03 Nov 2004
Modified: 02:07:37 PM
They beat us to the punch and now are in complete control.
Last night was the turning point of their revoltion that started with the theft of the 2000 election. The right wing neo-cons and christian extremeists have taken control of our government and there is no hope in sight that they are going to give it up. We leftists, socialists, anarchists, communists etc. always talk of revolution while many of us never believed it was possible. The right wing extremeists proved us wrong. They now control all branches of the government. And remember in 2000 when everyone was saying "Bush will do such an awful job that we can vote him out in 2004". Well....could he have possibly done any worse in his first four years? America was attacked, he started a global war, and our economy and jobs are going to hell. And still he gets re-elected. America has been taken away from us. We live in an occupied country. As much as our government sucked before, our country was always somewhat balanced. Now the urban centers of our country are not represented at all in our government and it is becoming obvious that our votes will never be enough to take it back. What do we do now???

What a crock! You have a hard time accepting reality.

"We leftists, socialists, anarchists, communists etc. always talk of revolution while many of us never believed it was possible."

You would be wise to maintain that belief that its not possible, because it isnt. Bush wasnt imposed upon America, he was VOTED in by the majority (and by an unquestionable margin). America is, by a vast majority, non-liberal and anti-alternative when it comes to governmental systems. You Socialists, anarchists, communists, etc need to simply find another host country to parasitize. Americans arent interested in your "revolution".

Why is it that you interpret lack of support for your ridiculous movements as oppression?

YOU SAID:

"As much as our government sucked before, our country was always somewhat balanced. Now the urban centers of our country are not represented at all in our government and it is becoming obvious that our votes will never be enough to take it back. What do we do now??? "

You sit down and shut up. The urban centers have never been represented. Its only the votes which count, wether you are in an urban center or not. If people dont support your ideaology, then you arent going to get any votes which support its agenda. Its not rocket science.
majority of who?

"Bush wasnt imposed upon America, he was VOTED in by the majority (and by an unquestionable margin"

Actually, 50 some million americans voted for Bush, 50 some million voted for Kerry, and the other 180 some million couldn't or didn't vote. In other words, only a little over a sixth of the population showed up to the polls to vote for Bush. We know that another sixth of the population voted for someone else, but we don't know what the other 2/3 of America think.
