The World Spins out of Control
09 Nov 2004
Modified: 03:47:57 PM
Warmonger Bush laughing hystericaly, Americans and Iraqis dying in Fallujah, John Edwards and his wife face breast cancer, But not to worry Sen. John Kerry rests comfortably and waxes his board.
I dont know if anyone else out there has this same feeling? It feels like the 2004 election was a year ago and the world has utterly spun out of control in that time.

In one week Bush has ratcheted up the war in Iraq, young American men die by the score in vicious urban combat as Iraqi's die by the hundred. War planes and artillery barrages fill the air over Iraq.

The Democrat leader Tom Daschle was targeted by Carl Rove and fraudulently taken from power leaving his state without true representation.

John and Elizabeth Edwards are consumed with her newly diagnosed breast cancer rendering them distracted and unavailable for the fight against this modern fascist coupe de ta.

Howard Dean sees the walls of the city crumbling and struggles to hold them up by surgicaly taking the reigns of what is left of the Democratic party in the USA. Yet he will most likely be thwarted by political insiders who fiddle while America burns.

Sen. John Kerry is AWOL in this hour of need. Most likely the Senator is waxing his snowboard in Aspen or some other haunt of the extremely wealthy. I now honestly have some doubts about who Mr. Kerry was working for. He recieved my vote but I dont know that he ever realy intended to win.

The world feels like it has sped up to a dizzying pace and spun further out of control than it had in all of the previous four years before it.

What awaits us?

Where do we go from here? And will we have any choice in where it is we do go?

This is my country but I am overwhelmed and confused by the new horrors that meet my eyes every few hours in the past week. I need a rest and a break, but where to find peace?

The brown shirts are everywhere undermining freedom. Not even the libraries are immune anymore.

Maybe it is in the third world that I will find solace. Insulated from the new tyranny by it's lack of sophistication. Perhaps coastal Costa Rica, the Pacific coast of Mexico South of Puerto Angel, maybe the plains of Africa, or bright lights of Paris!

Anyone out there feeling utterly dazed, confused, and threatened?

Let us make a PEACE caravan South through the America's to Old Mexico or Costa Rica. Or a chartered ship to Africa or Europe where peacefull, educated like minded people can wash away the horror and angst of the New America.

Come on people I dont recognize this place anymore I need a break at best and a permanent change at worst, travel with me. I dont realy want to go alone.

A private cruise to a new land to escape persecution sounds good! Hmmmm it also sounds familiar, can you say Mayflower? Mexico and Costa Rica sound good also..... Lets go!
Perhaps you sould start packing.

Uh huh. Those "bright lights of Paris" once illuminated huge NAZI flags while Hitler's armies marched under the Arc de Triomphe. Africa? No, too many bugs, not enough technology. Mexico? Too corrupt (you could always sneak back into the US illegally). Costa Rica is your choice.....HOWEVER, you will need to have money, and lots of it. Costa Rica has more Americans living there per capita than any country outside of the U.S. (including any country in Europe). You will not be well received if you are a grocery bagger or a hamburger flipper. In short, Costa Rica is a GREAT place for Americans.....wealthy Americans whose ideaology is probably more in keeping with the Right than to the Left.
