Falluja Truth

The US claims to control 70% of Falluja and that casualties are minimal. Yet international news agencies have conflicting reports
The US claims to control 70% of Falluja and that casualties are minimal. Observers on the ground have a different story. This is an excerpt from a BBC International journalist.

"Wherever I went, I found broken buildings and bodies - local people and fighters killed on the streets. I also saw four crippled US tanks and three abandoned Humvees. In the Hasbiyyah area, I counted the bodies of at least six US soldiers lying on the ground. Some of them were badly mangled with various bits blown off. Others were in better condition, as if they had taken small-arms fire. I noticed two of the US soldiers were still clutching their guns tightly across their chests. But most of their weapons were missing. Some of the dead are beginning to rot in the streets. I think it is misleading to say the US controls 70% of the city because the fighters are constantly on the move. They go from street to street, attacking the army in some places, letting them through elsewhere so that they can attack them later. The fighters have told me they are prepared to resist the Americans until the death. They say they are fighting not just for Falluja, but for all Iraq. They express confidence that they will win in the end. They say the idea is to inflict enough casualties on the American troops to force them to reconsider their mission."

The media is already reporting that Al-Zarqawi fled Falluja (though there is no evidence that he was there in the first place). US forces were forced out of the city of Ramadi by the rebels.
The puppet prime minister's relatives were kidnapped, and 20 American trained Iraqi soldiers are being help captive, meanwhile, there are no reports of the number of Iraqi soldiers killed trying to take Falluja. Is the US hiding the real body count of American soldiers and to keep moral high at home? If the Americans do take Falluja, will that end the violence and bring peace to Iraq? Or is an American defeat the only way for peace?

59 Million People Like Me
Good old American red blooded hate
Gotta kill me an Arab before it's too late.

Get back home to fly the Confederate flag,
So no one around will think I'm a fag.

Early Sunday morning off to church,
I feel God's power in my starched white shirt.
Toss a few bucks in the basket goes 'round,
So I'm ready for anything that might come down.

Whether civil rights workers or minority clowns,
Or tree hugging liberals with their California sounds,
I'll take care of 'em all with some well-placed

Killin' the evil doers is part of God's plan,
Just like my membership in the Ku Klux Klan.
And polluting the country is a God-given right,
but keep that waste dump outta my sight.

I believe a marriage is between a woman and a man,
Just like I believe in old Uncle Sam.
Women think too much, you know that is true,
They should be at home working and serving up brew.
I whip my kids with a belt when they talk back,
And make 'em read the bible for what they lack.

59 million people like me,
Fighting to keep God's America free.

In the White House, the church, the courts and the
At beaches, in boardrooms and community pools,
59 million people like me make the rules.

Good old American red-blooded hate,
People like me control America's fate.
Better join us now before it's too late.
59 million people like me, Now ain't that great?
