as far as I know this information is correct, though I did witness police pushing people who were on the sidewalk for no reason, and the cops tried to run their motorcycles into the crowd a few times.

alot of us got pushed around alot. Some bruises and scrapes. I dont know of anything else.

officer 2412 repeatedly targeting dark-skinned man for arrest. apparently he got away, according to one friend who stuck around longer than i did (confirm?). it seems generallythere were no arrests.

there were no arrests despite organizers screaming that we were going to get arrested if we marched off the permit.

there was some bullying although but it was brief and sporadic until the end of the breakaway march.

I saw #315 hit a 17 year old woman in the face in Copley.

there is a reportback/feedback type of meeting today at 5pm at the harvard social forum space, 45 mt auburn st in harvard square, cambridge. please come with intelligent and respectful commentary so we can have a constructive dialogue about what went down.

Was this 17-year-old acting peacefully or wanting to start a riot? Because the First Amendment guarantees PEACEFUL assembly.
