Re: Set the Captives Free! Conference & Concert feat. Dead Prez etc.

seriously, when it comes to political prisoners and prisoners of war, fuck ideology. this is about all of us.

I see that Amer Jubran is listed, but I thought that he'd been forced out of the country and was in Jordan. Is he really going to be there? Is there going to be some kind of a tape? If so, is that the case with others on this list?

Ya.. who cares if the RCP planes on incarcerating YOU once they come into power, or that china has the worlds largest prison system. Let's work with them on prison abolition now.
Re: Set the Captives Free! Conference & Concert feat. Dead Prez etc.

Where does this say anything about the RCP? What the hell are you talking about?

hes a troll, just ignore him

Cuba has a horrendous prison system as does China, North Korea, Sudan, Iran, Syria and Russia (legacy of the Soviet Union). Two of the best prison systems in the world, if you are a criminal are the United States and Israel.

yet another troll, ignore that one too
Re: Set the Captives Free! Conference & Concert feat. Dead Prez etc.

This is the most ridiculous event ever.

Jericho - Filled with RCP members.
Lynn Stewart - SWP member, and supporter of islamic theocracy and terrorism in Saudi Arabia
Dead Prez - Homophobes and out and out black nationalists

Why is it that white anarchists ignore nationalism, homophobia, authoritarianism, vanguardism, and out and out terrorism when commited by blacks? Ya'll know that if any of these people had been white Mobarzeh wouldn't have let them into the front door.

No wonder there are so few anarchists of color, since all the white anarchists pander to the authoritarians of color.
Re: Set the Captives Free! Conference & Concert feat. Dead Prez etc.

anarchists should be able to understand this if anybody can:

jericho is a network
i don't think jericho boston is "filled with" RCP people...
by joining in a network where people in some of the other nodes of the network are RCP people, you're not joining the RCP.

also,
by saying that giving legal defense to someone means supporting their ideology, you're helping create a climate in which we as anarchists will have a harder time securing decent legal defense.

so come on. if you're afraid that hearing people who aren't anarchists speaking will make you less of an anarchist, don't go to the conference. it's that simple.

Amer Jubran has gone through the trouble of of taping a message just for this conference. Our comrades in NECDP have hooked this up. Everyone else will be there in person.
It is pointless responding and getting into arguments with fools like USA.
this is going to be a great event. Hope you all can make it.
P.S.
Mobarezeh doesnt exist anymore asshole. Get a fuckin life.

Perhaps instead of calling people "trolls" you should take what they say to heart. Why is it that you people are so blind to the fact that there are few prison abuses in the US. You should take your fight to places that the earlier post mentioned.
