The photos posted with this article are of babies who were deformed by depleted uranium. These babies were born in Iraq during the 90's after the first Gulf War. The U.S. military is currently using munitions containing depleted uranium in their war in Iraq. The use of depleted uranium (DU) is a violation of international law. The first time such weapons were used was in the first Gulf War of 1991 and then in the so called "humanitarian" mission in Bosnia, Serbia and Kosovo. The U.S. and the U.K. are now using DU weaponry in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you don't believe me then write to your local congressman about depleted uranium weaponry and they will admit to using it. However a lot more than simply writing to your congressman needs to be done about this. The DU is put inside of bullets, missiles and bombs supposedly because of its high density. A high density object is good at piercing armor. The military knows exactly what radioactivity does. Those in the ruling class who broke international law should be held responsible for this war crime. |
