Witnesses sought for possibly suit against Cambridge and the Army for arrests on Cambridge Common during the Arm's so-called birthday celebration |
If you witnessed the arrests of the first three of seven (not the Boston Direct Action Project) at the Cambridge Common during the Army event on June 14, Joe Gerson, Jamie Bissonet and Skip Schiel, we are looking for statements and photos and videos. We have a pre-trial hearing on July 15, but this case may evolve into a suit against the city, perhaps also the Army. Many thanks.

Please Don't Feed the Trolls
Wikipedia defines an Internet Troll as: "An Internet troll is either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person." Boston IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. Please, when posting comments, be respectful of others and ignore those trying to interrupt or discourage meaningful discourse. Thank you.

To be fair, you got yourselves arrested on purpose. If you actively choose that, don't expect support for your own selfish symbolism. |

Seriously, not "trolling" now... Some of the shit you guys (generic, not sexist) pulled was outrageous. I thought the Cambridge Police showed incredible restraint. Regardless if you support the war or not (I don't), booing an 11 year old who lost his dad in Iraq is bullshit ! You pull this shit, and alot more... And when the cops finally react, you whine about it. Getting your message out is fine, but don't be an asshole. |

If being an asshole was an arrestable offense then the entire country should be locked up. (myself included) |
