columbus, ohio schools has passed unfair dress code rules
Columbus, ohio school board has passed dress codes
this is an article i pasted from one of the tv news source:
Columbus Public Schools students are getting a makeover in the form of a new dress code for students.
Students who dress like they’re on MTV can expect to be asked to change. That's Tuesday night’s message from the Columbus school board.
Board members voted unanimously to adopt a new dress code just as students head back to school August 31.
The passage of the the dress code policy is designed to preserve decorum in the classroom, eliminate disturbances and ensure student safety.
The dress code would ban the following: short skirts, flip flops, saggy pants, sleepwear, see-through shirts and more. The restricted items also include clothing or jewelry which displays any sort of racial, ethnic or religious prejudice.
The board also voted to approve a ban on cellular phones and pagers in school.

-So the kids won't look like a bunch of rot-minded clones of their favorite reality show character?
NO BIG DEAL!

The restricted items also include clothing or jewelry which displays any sort of racial, ethnic or religious prejudice.

-So the kids won't be able to fall prey to the racist capitalist agenda of "divide and conquer"?
NO BIG DEAL!

The board also voted to approve a ban on cellular phones and pagers in school.

-So the kids won't be a bunch of gadget-addicted consumerist losers?
NO BIG DEAL!
