New Old Orleans
03 Sep 2005
The inadequate response to the recent crisis in New Orleans is not surprising in view of the ideology of American conservatism, specifically its social Darwinist aspects. Social welfare rates extremely low on the conservative scale of priorities; egocentric endeavours and an individual focus outweighs concern for the group; if the people complain then “let them eat cake”, but in New Orleans, let them eat air!
The tragedy of New Orleans demonstrates the failure of self-centred ideologies and the effect these ideologies have on emergency and essential public services – due to neglect they all failed to cope in a time of crisis.

The priorities of the Bush regime are plain to see – warfare and plunder at the behest of the money-grubbing Transnationals. The vast majority of available resources are directed at warfare and associated technologies at the expense of homeland safety and infrastructure maintenance – the costs of the Iraq intervention glare as an obscenity in view of recent events.

Clearly, the interests of Capitalism (wealth for the few) take priority over the welfare of American citizens; history has proven that any nation that places the welfare of its citizens in the background faces internal collapse.

The following quotes have been culled from articles published over the past eleven months on this site. Analysis (and deductive reasoning) lends itself to forecasting. No credit is taken for the accuracy of these statements – any thinking person could have deduced the same (providing they were not distracted by the misinformation constantly gushing from mass media outlets).

Quotes are followed by a link to the respective articles:

“The ensuing loss of life in those highly populated areas could easily exceed tens of millions – yet no significant strategies have been deployed to prevent the potentially horrendous loss of life. The short-sighted corporate driven US government has other priorities.”

“ – the earth’s weather patterns have been disrupted by pollution and environmental vandalism; the fury of nature re-balancing weather patterns will cost more (in destruction) than the profits of the Corporations who directly and indirectly created the imbalance – learn!”

“It should not be forgotten that Bush was directed to obtain the services of ‘reputable’ scientists to constantly refute any evidence that global warming even exists!

The effects of pollution and global warming on the world’s weather patterns are irrefutable fact.”

“Mob rule is the future for that culture…

The population will turn on those who have used them as pawns and slaves – each selfish little piggy will want a share of the trough – after all, money, greed and deceit – it’s the American Way, isn’t it?”

Postscript:
‘The writing is on the wall’. The future belongs to those wise enough to overcome the present!

Peace to you all.

The Results From Dubya's Speech Says It All!
03 Sep 2005
Bush babbling on about Trent's home being wiped out. And babbling on about New Orleans. Was the sorryest speech to date, from our selected prez...
People will die. For what? Moron's running the show?
Aren't these moron's a reflection of us? Unfortunately, the "leaders" or our country are CORPORATE controlled. Bought, groomed and "molded" into a CORPORATE puppet. So I guess we can somewhat vindicate ourselves? Right? Wrong!
We MUST see past money. (By eliminating PAC's and other bribe making laws.) Create our government for the people.
Either change? Or lose everything.
That is our future.
