What might Nader have done about Firestone tires had he hadf Presidential powers?
Before watching the debate Tuesday, see Spin

Before tuning into the debates, check out "Spin" by Brian Springer which turned heads in 1996 and opened people's eyes to what goes on behind the scenes. It used rather remarkable satellite backhauls which are raw feeds of events unpackaged and uncensored. You won't look at any of the candidates OR newscasters the same way again.

Why can't I live in a state like Mass.?

I live in Oklahoma (the only state stupid enough to exclude the man, the myth, the master of consumerism, Ralph Nader). I plan on attending the St. Louis protest/rally and hope to spread the progressive genes on to my fellow "hicks" as I call them :). Keep up the inspiring work, and know that Naderites exist in the most unfriendly and barbaric of places (i.e. Oklahoma).

Nader TV uplink was $7500, not $75,000
03 Oct 2000
The article on the Nader rally sunday was great, I just didn't want anyone to think that the campaign had spent $75,000 on the satellite uplink. I heard them say from the stage $7500, which is far in keeping with the total costs of the event. Of course, it doesn't change the unfortunate fact that they had to give $80,000 to the FleetCenter overseers to rent the Garden, but at least people know that the money collected covered all the costs and helped get the next arena ready for the next rally (in Chicago on the 10th...)
