European IMC, Has anyone been following the posts on the paris IMC? Here are some translated posts.
Here are just a few posts from the paris IMC. I am curious that there hasnt been much discussion about the riots in france. some of the posts sound familiar to ones made here.

It is not because the school, the library and some cars will have burned that the class consciousness will have advanced in the cities and that the young people will leave the red flags and will take the Palate of winter!

. The young people of the cities are mistaken in target. It is not in Medef and the ump that they are caught some. And what occurs assistance well to make swallow the sedentary speech. Moreover the speech is followed acts: Emergency State, curfew, rpression, expulsions, charters... Sarko add a couche.dans of it the provoc and the PEN rubs the hands. The new petainists are with the doors of the capacity. pablo

to be anarchist, it is not to be fanatic and sectarian. Try to include/understand what disemt people instead of insulting them and to lock up them in boxes as soon as what they say is not on your line. I am anarchist, suburban of the 93 and I do not see in what Gégé would be a "sore ploughshare-dem" because he says that the "rioters" are not in a logic anticapitalist. For me, the radicality is not measured on the level of violence of the action. It is measured by the libertarian character, interdependent, autonomous of what you from day to day build in your engagements against the system. Sign "anarchist" if you want, but does not behave like small a stal

stoppers on the medef

It is easier than to wonder about the left which which collaborates with the capacity in the cities than it directs, by expelling the squatteurs and the badly-housed persons, and by appellant the police force to be brought back calms it.

The rioters are not morons, they are much more political aware than think it to you. But they do not have anything to lose and chose the war. You on the contrary etes integrated in the system and are afraid which they can gain.

There are only two camps, you already chose it your. Us too.

"there are only two camps"

acab, you function like 16. 35 or what? does that want to say what, it has only two camps there? Between the law of the cops and the law of small the caïds banked-up bed, there is another thing: no the head, people who learn how to do some, which does without from the religions and the small red books. that it is my camp and I fout of your small threats shock kind of civilizations. Your speech is much too Manichean, you forget that the cities it is a world much more complex than in your r^ves: have you the bands and their small heads, full modest people who try to create interdependent relations in the district, of the profiteurs, the religious fanatics...

There are more posts there at http://paris.indymedia.org on most articles you can have the comp translate it with the link in the upper rite hand corner of the webpage. Maybe we can learn from their discussion so that NO RIOTS can happen here.

Yeah, Bob it ddn;t get covered very well. The center column has been pretty much stagnate for a couple of weeks. The reality is that IMC is what YOU make it. One person put a link to the Global IMC site on the Links to other press section, regarding the France riots but that was it. It would be great if you could post more here on the newswire, or do so for the next important happening. I have some friends that work wih the BIMC and you'd be suprised how much time they spend just going through and deleting and hiding racist and incidary bullshit. Some people are intend on trying to ruin it for everyone. So, let's all work together to make this site better. If there is a story you want to see covered, cover it.
I wanted to cover it...

But I was enjoying this really great sandwich at Au Bon Paine. Sorry.
