White Phosphorus or "willie pete", is NOT a chemical weapon. Sorry.

it's a chemical, right? it was used as a weapon, right? hence..... chemical weapon.

bleach is a chemical weapon if thrown in someone's face. save your trolling for someplace else ray.

Anyone with just a SMALL amount of knowledge of the subject will tell you when the term "chemicla weapons" is used, it refers nerve agents ( sarin, VX), mustard gas, chrolrine gas, tear "gas"( actually not a "gas", but rather a micro-particulet solid,it looks like a burr under a microscope. The smoke you see when it is used is the propellant for the solid), etc. I guess if you were one with a simplist mind, you could use your bleach example, however it would be incorrect.

I'm not a troll. Pardon my grammatical errors, my typing needs some work.

WP is a very effective tool for getting a tough job done. My guys personally preferred fragmentation grenades - less mess!
Ray is right, it's not listed or in the same category as chemical weapons.
