Why aren't the politicians listening? Oh...I know why? Because they're trying to create a solid police state.
The only terrorist in this country? The police, politicians and corporations.

Myself and all the other members of the current armed forces and Veterans would not allow the US to become a police state. Nothing to worry about and we are heading in a good direction now. America has been built on it's freedom and that freedom will not be leaving the USA any time in the near future.

Does anyone calling for dumping the PATRIOT ACT actually know what is contained within the act or do they simply rely on media hype? I would bet big money that it is the latter.

Of course they're relying on media hype, that's what they were relying on four years ago when most people we in favor of it, why should it be any different now.

But everyone on indymedia has read it I'm sure, if not here it is: http://www.epic.org/privacy/terrorism/hr3162.html
