First Night Palestine Rally, Berklee Center, 6:45 PM
30 Dec 2005
Boston First Night Pro-Palestinian/Anti-Israel rally 6:45 PM in front of the Berklee Performance Center on Mass Ave (or come to the Palestine pre-rally convergence in Copley Square at 6 and walk over to Berklee with us)
Boston First Night Pro-Palestinian/Anti-Israel rally 6:45 PM in front of the Berklee Performance Center on Mass Ave (or come to the Palestine pre-rally convergence in Copley Square at 6 and walk over to Berklee with us)

On Saturday Dec 31, a group of Pro-Palestinian Anti-Zionist activists will be gathering outside the Berklee Performance Center from 6:45 PM til 8:45 to protest a concert sponsored by the Israeli Consulate. "Israel" is a racist state that was founded in 1948 in Palestine on land stolen from the Arab Palestinian people. 800,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes in 1948 in a brutal ethnic cleansing campaign. To this day "Israel" rules all of Palestine with an apartheid system under which persons of Jewish religion or ethnicities from anywhere in the world are allowed to freely immigrate to Palestine where they enjoy political and economic rights that are denied to indigenous Arab Palestinians. The apartheid state of "Israel", with military and financial aid from the United States government, wages a continuing genocidal terrorist campaign to try to wipe out the Palestinian people or drive them all entirely out of their own country. It is important for real advocates for justice and human rights to speak out against Israeli apartheid and against Israeli state-terrorism. Events in Boston sponsored by the Israeli government are one place where we can protest and show the Israeli government and their supporters that we won't stand for their shit!

Before the protest we will gather in Copley Square at 6 PM at the Stop the Wars Coalition's First Night Against the War standout. We will leave soon after 6 to walk together over to the Berklee Center. Please join us in Copley Square at 6 or else meet us in front of the Berklee Performance Center on Mass Ave at 6:45. Bring pro-Palestine anti-Zionist signs, kaffiyeh's, and Palestinian flags or help hold ours.

This Anti-Zionist protest for Palestine is endorsed by the Stop the Wars Coalition First Night Against the War Committee. First Night Against the War will be in Copley Square from 1 PM til 10 PM holding anti-war signs and banners and distributing anti-war stickers, flyers and beautiful anti-war posters. All anti-war people are encouraged to participate. The coalition calls for all foreign troops out of Iraq now!

The Israeli/Zionist campaign against the Palestinians is the center of a larger regional campaign by the USA and Israel attacking Arab populations throughout the Middle East region. Look to the genocidal American occupation of Iraq for another example of this regional campaign.

Victory to the Intifada! Free Palestine!
Shut Down the Israeli Racist Apartheid Terror State!
From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free!
Let All Palestinian Refugees Return to Their Homes!
Victory to the Iraqi Resistance! Free Iraq!

Gilad Barkan Quartet

Will perform on New Year's Eve at
First Night Boston 2006

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Berklee Performance Center

The Consulate General of Israel to New England and Zionist House/Israel Cultural Center present the Gilad Barkan Quartet. Described as "a fresh sounding idiom," pianist Gilad Barkan's music draws on jazz, Brazilian and African rhythms, and sounds of his Israeli homeland. The quartet performs Barkan's compositions as well arrangements of better known Israeli and Brazilian melodies.

The group features Amir Milstein, a celebrated Israeli flutist and co-leader of Bustan Abraham; and John Lockwood and Bertram Lehmann, two of Boston's most sought after players on the jazz and world-music scenes.

Police rampage as Gaza unrest grows

December 31, 2005

GAZA CITY: Palestinian police, angry over the killing of a fellow officer, stormed the Gaza-Egypt crossing last night, firing into the air and forcing European monitors to close the border and flee.

About 100 police entered the Rafah compound and took up positions alongside border patrol officers at the Customs section of the crossing.

The European observers - responsible for monitoring the crossing and ensuring that the terms of an Israeli-Palestinian agreement are upheld - fled, fearing the situation was deteriorating, officials said. Hours later, Palestinian police chief Alaa Housni said the situation had been brought under control.

A rash of kidnappings and armed takeovers of government institutions has plunged the Gaza Strip into chaos in recent months, underscoring Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas's inability to control the area following Israel's withdrawal in September. Mr Abbas left Gaza on Thursday for a tour of the Gulf states.

"Free Gaza" is right: outlaw state of Israel retains full fascistic control of all air and sea space access and all other land border crossings and intends to for indefinite future. This is not freedom or sovereignty but a sham redeployment designed to facilitate the further permanent theft of more valuable land in the West Bank. Free Gaza, free the West Bank, free Berklee!

A brilliant plan. The palestinians are very predictable.
The palestinian civil war is raging.
Grab some popcorn, sit back and watch the action on Al Jezeera!

A Palestinian civil war in Gaza or any Palestinian lands wouldn't mean Zionists have thier alleged birthright of murderous theft of even 1 rock in Palestine, anymore than the American civil war would have given Brittish forces in Canada a right to invaded Boston. But we can't just sit back and watch, when we have to finance the Zionist's bloodsoaked crusade so Democraps and Republitrash can buy a special intrest's votes and campain contributions. I wish we did have the option of sitting back and watching. But our masters wouldn't have it.

Servitude to the Zionist cruasade so whore politicians can sell out our country's peace really sucks.
