Rendon sits in Boston, working disinformation campaigns for the capitalists and the American government.

from the nytimes.com article (Feb 18, 2002) 'Pentagon Readies Efforts to Sway Sentiments Abroad'
To help the new office, the Pentagon has hired the Rendon Group, a
Washington-based international consulting firm run by John W. Rendon Jr., a
former campaign aide to President Jimmy Carter. The firm, which is being
paid about $100,000 a month, has done extensive work for the Central
Intelligence Agency, the Kuwaiti royal family and the Iraqi National
Congress, the opposition group seeking to oust President Saddam Hussein.
Officials at the Rendon Group say terms of their contract forbid them to talk
about their Pentagon work. But the firm is well known for running
propaganda campaigns in Arab countries, including one denouncing atrocities
by Iraq during its 1990 invasion of Kuwait.
The firm has been hired as the Bush administration appears to have united
around the goal of ousting Mr. Hussein. "Saddam Hussein has a charm
offensive going on, and we haven't done anything to counteract it," a senior
military official said.
from the Rendon Group website: http://www.rendon.com/services/pr/privatization.html
"There is currently a world-wide phenomenon of government-owned assets being put up for sale. Through
privatization, governments are transforming their state-controlled economies to free market systems, resulting in
important revenue gains, foreign debt reduction and a vast improvement in consumer services.
The process of implementing privatization is not simple. It demands the expertise of a team to provide long-term
professional and technical support to the various constituencies involved. TRG has provided privatization public
relations services in Africa, Europe, the CIS region and South East Asia.
The success of a privatization plan rests not only on the carefully crafted legal documents, but on the
acceptance of the plan by the various constituencies: 1) the government, i.e., the state-run agency controlling
the industry to be privatized; 2) the citizenry or customers of that business; 3) the potential buyers of the
business; and 4) the financial institutions and sub-markets.
TRG can play a valuable role during the entire marketplace preparation process by designing and implementing
a public relations strategy to address all issues and concerns in order to communicate the benefits of
privatization to the various audiences. TRG's targeted plan helps create a favorable environment before
privatization begins, inform the public while the plan is being carried out, and continue the programs after
privatization is complete. The first three to five years after privatization are critical to ensure the success of the
TRG develops multi-media communication programs tailored to individual needs, budgets and circumstances,
utilizing both traditional and non-traditional message dissemination methods. TRG believes that any successful
communications program must begin with a solid foundation built on a comprehensive Strategic Plan.
Using a variety of means, TRG measures local and national sentiment in order to design and chariot a long-term
public relations campaign with benchmarks and timetables for plan implementation. TRG's plans address all
those having a vested interest in privatization's success and emphasizes the long-term benefit so that
developing nations may enter a level playing field in international commercial competition.
Although it doesn't list on the website the exact location of The Rendon Group in Boston, it is probably information that can be obtained. An informative protest exposing the practices of the Rendon Group, and their alliance with our government, seems necessary.

I think the Rendon group sounds pretty great. They're offering Arab people information about the atrocities perpetrated by their corrupt governments, such as the gassing of tens of thousands of his own people by Saddam. They're also giving them hope and a belief that the US supports them and will stand with them as they fight for freedom, a battle already begun in Iran and soon enough, Iraq.
Do you people just think that any group that works with the United States government is evil? You're kind of pathetic.
