copy of letter to governor of Maine
09 Feb 2006
copy of letter explaining my thoughts and fears an answers to those fears
February 9, 2006

Hon. John Elias Baldacci
Governor of the State of Maine
Statehouse Station1
Augusta, Maine

Dear Sir

Re: Volunteer regiments

I want to make it absolutely clear that I am not abdicating violence or military over throw of the duly elected government. I am advocating that Maine raise a force of fifth teen regiment’s into three brigades to form a colonial guard to protect and defend the people of Maine. I call on all democratic governors to do the same. As you know the president can take control of the National Guard from the states by federalizing them. Volunteer regiments he has no authority over only the state does. In time of danger, or the central government going to far; the people would have a full division to defend them each town depending on size would raise everything from a platoon to company to battalion to regiment all infantry outfitted by them and the town or village. All ready to move to defend the state at a moments notice from any aggression of central government in Washington D.C to deny the rights of citizen and defend our constitution and bill of right and if needed remove that government from power and restore the rule of law and the rights of man.

The rights to all Americans, regardless of race, culture and religion, and sex and sexual orientation, it is the right of every state to preserve the union and restore order and the rights of Man, Women, Child.” Being a god fearing man my first allegiance is to go, second to my state, and every state has a primal claim to the fealty of its citizens and may justly control that fealty if Maine adheres to central government and the union I adhere her determination must be mine thou I love the Union I love Maine more that is my understanding of patriotism” Lieutenant General Thomas Jonathan Jackson, army of the Shenandoah. We as a nation must be prepared to defend the rights of our people when a government or administration goes to far beyond reason and just cause. I call on every man and women to join their local home guard units of the colonial guard. The commanders of these units will screen every volunteer so that no hate group, separatist, religious fanatic right wing extremists is present in any of these commands.

Every member must swear allegiance to the constitution, the bill of rights and to the people of the United States of America regardless of race, culture, Religion, sexuality, and gender. That they will defend all Americans regardless of their heritage, their culture, gender or their gender preference, we are one, a thousand cultures, a thousand races and a thousand ways of life. The Guard motto “We Live for the one and we die for the one” that means sir we will fight and die for each other and with just cause not what a president decides a just war George Walker Bush thinks everything is fine and the union is strong he is a liar, and a coward with no honor, and leadership that could not run a Austin Whorehouse. We as a nation must be prepared not to fund anymore combat operation that this present administration see’s fit to call just. We as states must be able to say no more money, “you may take our son’s and daughter but you will never take our freedom” Sir William Wallace 900 ad.

Sincerely Yours
Murdock Todd Cote (Doc)

Excellant idea. As a Maine resident I understand the risk in having the national guard in the hands of an imperial president. All national guard equipment planes helios, bulldoziers etc are now miles away killing innocent people. While here in MAine we remember in 1866 the New Brunswick/Maine fire that burned 3 million acres. We remember 1947 the year my father fought fires in maine. My mom made box lunches to be sent to the fire fighters. As the Bar Harbor fire intesified it turned around changing direction and sweeped down on Bar Harbor burning millionaires row and trapping the people of that town on the pennisula. Local fisherman managed to evacuate 400 from the town pier. Bulldoziers finially punched a hole down route 3 and 700 flead while being showered by sparks and flame. Jackson labs burned to the ground. This fire was only 23,000 acres. 205,000 acres burned that year in Maine. With the winter we have had who knows with lowering water tables from no snow pack a drought may well spell another year of fire. Our reliance on the national guard is unfounded. They are in the hands of a creul, stupid and combatitive president in a far off land. They would be no help to us. We are left without an organized force and equipment to address such issues. Mainers aren't foolish. We quietly bide our time fully aware of the crazies to our south. We call them flatlanders. We have our plans to drop the bridge over the river in Kittery. If we need to we will be leaving you on the side of the road with your family while we commandeer your SUV for fire suppression. Excuse me the rooster crows. The cows need to be milked. Don't come to us when you reallize that Bush and friends have poisoned your food. We be laughing all the way to the barn. Veteran of ingnorance we be laughing allright.

That is great!! Loved it! I especially liked the part about the fires that happened in the 1800's and then again almost sixty years ago. That is great historical information.................but has to do with what? Maine has some really outstanding fire departments staffed with some outstanding people. Additionally, their mutaul aid plan is top notched that involves NH and MA. I actaully ahve recently attended a few events with FF's and EMS people from the great state of Maine! Good guys/gals who know their job! No need to worry about fires. That little threat about the bridge though, that is a different story..................
All of the New England states should raise militias

And prepare to seceed.

Wes, back up the hippy van of unshowered fools!

Did I mention carjacking SUV's or destroying property/life? Nope! So how am I the terrorist?

Also, what use is an SUV for fire suppression? Can you drop it on the fire to put it out?

Excellent idea. I've sent this letter to Baldacci ten minutes ago. Everyone should.

"Veteran", you should be jailed for collaboration !
Stop these cynic remarks now ! These guys killed my brother in their outrageous "coup d'etat".
Don't try to insult his memory anymore ! Your IP's stored here. Take your responsibilities as an american citizen, or i'll take mine. Is that clear ?

I'm waiting for your apologies.

Loyal Maine citizen.

I am confused as to what I am supposed to be apologizing for? Collaboration? Also what coup? If you lost your brother in the service of this country, I am truly sorry. Truly "sucks" when we lose a citizen but really "suck" when we lose someone who is willing to be part of the bigger picture.

What are my responsibilities as you see them? I support my community and country. I take great pride in having a wonderful family. I continue to improve myself through exercise, training and education. I volunteer with many different groups and projects. What am I not doing that offends you?

Re: copy of letter to governor of Maine

South Carolina tried that in 1861. Alabama soon followed and so on. This experiment in state armies ended disasterously at a small place called Appomatox court house. Actually most states had a "State Guard" during World War II. They took the place of the National Guard to maintain order, suppress riots, quell insurrection, and repel invasion. They were instrumental in quelling the detroit race riots. So it isn't as far fetched an idea as it seems. However the reason for having state guards during WWII is that the entire National Guard was mobilized fighting tyranny and oppression overseas much as it is doing today. However, the difference between WWII and today is that today we have the majority of the Regular Army and the Army National Guard on home soil. There is no need for state militias anymore. Another difference is the advent of state police. Each state now has adequate police forces to quell riots or insurrection. Contrary to P. White's assertions, the National Guard exists primarily as a reserve of the active Army. It is not a civil disaster relief force. The National Guard assumed that additional mission some time during the 1960s. It is by far the mission that the soldiers of the National Guard dislikes most because it detracts from their primary role of warfighting. Glad to have had the opportunity to set the record straight for you.

Thanks to veteran#3 for giving his information. The other veteran is a troll. This was exactly my point. This would not be a militia or police force but one of civilian disaster response. As we learned from Katrina to depend on National Guard high water vehicles and other equipment is a mistake at this time. As DOD has declared this the long war I do not think that we can depend on help when fire, flood or pestulance strikes from the National Guard and it would be wise for us Mainers to consider other arrangements.

Veteran#3, logs, IPs and traceroutes will tell the truth, don't worry if you're not concerned.

It's still a good solution, all kinds of independence are good to take. As the situation is totally out of control, secession is a quick and efficient solution, this model will spread everywhere, and the treator administration will legitimately be dismissed, jailed, and sentenced to death.
