Planning Meeting Tuesday, March 7 6:30PM
33 Harrison Ave 3rd Floor
Chinatown Boston
Henry Kissinger, Al Haig and a veritable rogues’ gallery of war criminals are coming to Boston…to reflect, no less, on their greatest crime: the Vietnam War. Kissinger, wanted in Europe and Latin America for questioning in connections with war crimes and human rights violations, is responsible for among other things:
§ Secretly bombing Cambodia & Laos in the late 1960s
§ Prolonging the Vietnam War by at least 7 years
§ Facilitating the overthrow a democratically-elected government in Chile
§ Supporting the invasion of and genocide in East Timor
§ Plunging Angola into a decades-long “civil” war
He is also architect of the U.S foreign policy that supported Pol Pot’s terrorist campaign against Cambodia. In recent years as a private “business person,” Kissinger has supported and actively encouraged the Bush Administration’s rejection of the International Criminal Court and the democratic idea of “Universal Jurisdiction” that will hold human rights violators accountable for their crimes.
Henry Kissinger is coming to town. We call on all who care about human and civil rights to demand that Kissinger be held accountable for his crimes. Join us at the Kennedy Center (UMass/JKF stop on the MBTA’s Red Line) demand an end to the wars of occupation and help bring Kissinger to justice. |

William Kristol is also coming. A member of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), a movement credited in part for some of the foreign policy decisions of the Bush administration as evidenced by their 1998 letter to US President Bill Clinton advocating military action in Iraq to "protect our vital interests in the Gulf."
