Northeast IMC Gathering May 11-12 Massachusetts |
The New York City IMC is looking forward to hosting a first-ever Northeast IMC Conference on the weekend of May 11-12 at a beautiful 400-acre campground on a spring-fed lake high in the Berkshire Mts. of Western Massachusetts. All Northeast IMCistas are cordially invited.
With 15 Independent Media Centers (active or forming), the Northeast USA has the highest concentration of IMCs in the world. This weekend gathering offers us a chance to come together and forge personal relationships, share ideas, experiences, visions and skills, and possibly develop ways we can support each other in our work. People will also be strongly encouraged to have lots of fun. :)
Camp Segowea (see, www.geocities.com/segoweaweb/tour.htm) has cabins, cooking facilities and large meeting spaces as well as canoes, hiking trails and other excellent
recreational facilities. Madhava, a former NYC-IMC
volunteer, works as a camp counselor at Segowea and is helping to facilitate this happening. The camp is asking for a suggested donation of $20 per person for the weekend. That fee can be knocked down to $10 per person for those who are willing to donate two or three hours of work to help out around the camp with projects like such as building a new greenhouse and starting a garden. The camp is run on a shoestring budget and the money it makes off this weekend will help it to provide more scholarships for underpriviliged children that it serves during the summer.
The NYC-IMC is forming a working group to facilitate
preparations for this conference. We are using a fairly low traffic list serve (imc-nyc-- (at) lists.indymedia.org) to coordinate our activities.
Feel free to join the working group or to just send comments and suggestions to the list serve. Also, please let us know in advance how many people from your IMC will be coming. You can either call Madhava (413-229-8613) after 11 p.m. or send a note to the nyc-process list. |

The "madhatter" IMC, like a number of other new IMC's are units of The Establishment's psyops (psychological operations).
One way of testing the thesis is to see if they require a login ID.
Another way is to post accurate exposes and see if your reports are censored in any way.
The Empire HATES accurate reports on the activities of the Mossad, the CIA and other terrorist subcontractors.
If you haven't noticed, since the 9-11 fraud is failing to destroy dissent against the World Bank Group & Associates, they're trying harder than ever to divide, conquer and censor Indymedia and other freespeech websites.
The CEA and other independent groups have accumulated an extensive list of psyops units in the USA.
