These numbers mean a lot!

The two or three first digits of the barcode show the country of the industry. It's not equal to the "made in" product id. eg: the products of adidas write "made in Vietnam", but the barcode number starts with 4-0-3 which means that the company is german. The barcode number is the easiest way to recognize the country of a product. I'm attaching the catalogue of the barcode numbers for each country.
