Republicans Vs. Democrats (Numbers Don't Lie) (english)
04 Oct 2002
Modified: 06 Oct 2002
Print this and give it to all your friends and put it on car windshields. Even if you are a "green" or something else, the information is still worth underscoring because it isn't just about picking a party (the Democrats are essentially the same as Republicans in many ways)

actually, these numbers lie (english)

Median income for americans:
1998 - $26,492
1995 - $24,131
1990 - $25,308

In other words, the above is a crock of shit. Duh. Fuck Democrats AND Republicans.
hypothesis, and more figures (english)
05 Oct 2002
Maybe both sets of figures are accurate;
maybe the Brownstein figure of 14.5% increase
in median income during B.C. admin includes
increases in value of retirement accounts
due to the exploding stock market. Or something
like that.

I note that blitzen's figures are almost as flat
as the "average gross hourly earnings (private
sector, nonagricultural), for production or
nonsupervisory workers" i.e. 'the working class':

1998: $7.75
1995: $7.39
1990: $7.52

These are adjusted for inflation by using
constant 1982 dollars. From "Economic Indicators",
2000, US Council of Economic Advisors.
but boy, look at those corp. profits fly! (english)
05 Oct 2002
For your comparison, here are corporate profits
after tax, in Billions of dollars. Sorry, these
are the only years I have. From "Economic Indicators",
2000, US Council of Economic Advisors.
To be fair, these don't seem to be adjusted for
(the meager) inflation.

Corporate ANNUAL
Year Profits percent
after tax: change:
1990 261
1991 283 8.4%
1992 308 8.8%
1993 345 12.0%
1994 387 12.2%
1995 458 18.3%
1996 503 9.8%
1997 558 10.9%
1998 542 -2.9%
1999 589 8.7%
2000 646* 9.7%

Fake Elections & Fake Money (english)
06 Oct 2002
Sounds crazy, but so is "the truth":

It's already been proven that American elections are a fraud and the Federal Reserve Corporation's so-called "U.S. dollars" are counterfeit.

Don't believe me? See for yourself:
