CNN: Bush denies Iraq's Death Toll Has Reached 655,000
12 Oct 2006
"According to the survey results, Iraq's mortality rate in the year before the invasion was 5.5 deaths per 1,000 people; in the post-invasion period it was 13.3 deaths per 1,000 people per year. The difference between these rates was used to calculate "excess deaths."

The Mark Foley scandal: Where is the crime? Down with this reactionary crusade!
12 Oct 2006
It is the capitalists and their parties who politicize sex. They claim
to be defending the innocent and vulnerable, but anyone who has seen the
pictures from Abu Ghraib prison knows that this government doesn't give
a damn about sexual torture and molestation. Their real intent is to
persecute anyone who strays outside the completely artificial bounds
prescribed by the patriarchal, heterosexual bourgeois family, and in the
process arrogate to themselves ever greater police powers.

It's up "Congratulations Democrats NOW Do Your Job!" .com A HISTORIC ACTION TO SHARE !!
12 Oct 2006
Republicans have sold their souls and are unreachable by anyone who doesn't have millions for their campaign coffers. The Democrats appear to be poised to gain some power.

We watched the Democrats allow the 2000 election to be stolen by allowing black voters to be disenfranchised in Florida. Did you see Farenheit 911? Not one Democratic Senator would stand up with the black caucus.

I watched the Democrats stand by and leave Cynthia McKinney dangling when she found the courage to demand of Rumsfeld "Where's the $2.3 trillion you lost?" and "Investigate 9/11."

So, where are we. We have a weak opposition party that has performed dismally. One that finally may gain some power. One that may not do anything with that power unless they wake up with 1 or 2 million demands from us citizens that something be done to change our country for the better forever.

http://www.CongratulationsDemocratsNOWdoYourJob.com is a vehicle to make that happen.

The Legacy of the Iraqi War Hawks
11 Oct 2006
The body count goes up and up in Iraq; with more dead U.S. soldiers and Iraqi civilians. Chaos reigns! Yet, the man primarily responsible for this carnage, President George W. Bush, insists on “staying the course.” The evil legacy of this conflict metastasizes. The War Hawks, many in the U.S. Congress, some in the Media, along with the Neocons, bear culpability, too, in this matter. The Nov. election may be a last chance to restore sanity in Washington, D.C.
