Usually when the U.S. military intervenes overseas, the U.S. press demonizes the enemy. But in the case of the Haiti occupation, many media reports have spent more time demonizing the U.S.'s ostensible ally, deposed President Jean-Bertrand Aristide. |

Those of us in the Anti-war Movement must carefully identify our target when protesting the war on Iraq. Particularly in the United States, it is very tempting to view George Walker Bush as our primary target. It is important to remember that Bush is only a front-man for the machine that got him elected and used him to lead us to war - Corporate Global Empire. When Empire is through with him, they will shift their campaign for global domination to another of their choosing, served up to Americans in another phony election. It is also important for us to consider that a turnover of Iraq to U.N. Troops also amounts to a violation of Iraq's sovereignty through interference with their domestic affairs and occupation by a foreign power. |

The liberals have been looking for a way to shut down conservative talk radio, which outnumbers liberal talk radio 60 to 1. Re-instating the "fairness doctrine," require equal time for so controversial topics, which would absolutely shut down conservative talk radio. |
