Bublil fled Tripoli in 1967 - one of 38,000 Jews exiled from Libya and one of nearly one million Jews who fled their homes in the Arab world. She is the co-founder of JIMENA: “Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa,” and works to build peace between Arabs and Jews.
