In one of the most creative outpourings of protest that I have seen, about 100 people marched from the IRS building in Andover MA to the Raytheon weapons plant just down the road during the fourth annual Death and Taxes Festival on Saturday. Raytheon is the 2nd largest weapons dealer in the U.S., and protesters blocked the driveway, preventing them from receiving their parts shipment. Without it, Raytheon cannot build Tomahawk Missiles for the rest of the week.
In the concert of voices against the war, artists and musicians are taking their part too. To bypass the censorship of the commercial medias, some artists give their antiwar songs free for downloading. Others take part in concerts and events, make advertisings for anti-war groups, make statements in medias when they are interviewed...
