Earlier this year, a handful of us from NEFAC took our activity a step beyond supporting the struggles of others, and set out to organize our own workplace. For the first time in nearly seventy years anarchist militants would be at the forefront of a class struggle in the Boston area, successfully leading a campaign for unionization using explicitly anarchist strategies, tactics, and methods of organizing.
[Balata Refugee Camp, Nablus-West Bank] Today two young Palestinian boys and two international human rights activists (ISMers) were injured when Israeli soldiers drove into the Balata Refugee Camp randomly firing their weapons into the streets. The two palestinians were shot with rubber bullets. The two internationals were both shot with live ammunition in the legs. One is American and the other Australian.
