Community leaders call on Carmelite Sisters to begin contract negotiations

Nearly 100 leaders of community and labor organizations in the Boston-area urged the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm to “stop the campaign against workers, and agree to work with SEIU to heal the environment and ensure a fair process that leads to contract negotiations,” at the Marian Manor nursing home. The Carmelite Sisters own and manage South Boston’s Marian Manor – the largest nursing home in Massachusetts.
