Song For The Strikers
09 May 2001
In honor of the Harvard's Wage Sit-In victory I'll sing one "round" of a David Rovics tune, "Minimum Wage Strike."
Please to know, they did not get their main victory yet. What they scored was all their
sub-victories and a promising environment where it looks like their main issue might
get resolved soon.
If you need to know more about the complexities and etc., see the Boston Globe or someone.
I'm not going to even START in on any of THAT, for I haven't been near Harvard in about five years.

Chemical weapons and potentially lethal projectiles were used to strip us of our democratic rights. Yet mainly the protestors throwing rocks were condemned as "hooligans". The police were praised for exercising "restraint".

Call for WHIRL-MART ANTISHOPPING !ART/ACTION?....JUNE 3!
08 May 2001
On April 1, 2001, breathingplanet.net successfully activated its first action-performance, Whirl-Mart. It was a silent march winding through the aisles of Wal-Mart in Troy, NY, that was symbolic of the group's opposition to violent capitalist values. It was not necessarily a protest against Wal-Mart. Now breathingplanet.net is calling for simultaneous Whirl-Mart action-performances across the country and/or globe on Sunday June 3 and the first Sunday of every month following.

Majestic 12 And The Secret Government
07 May 2001
During the years following World War II the Government of the United States was confronted with
a series of events which were to change beyond prediction its future and with it the future of humanity.

These events were so incredible that they defied belief. A stunned President Truman and his top military Commanders found themselves virtually impotent after having just won the most devastating and costly war in history. The United States had developed, used, and was the only nation on earth in possession of the Atomic Bomb which alone had the potential to destroy any enemy, and even the Earth itself.
