Activists representing a variety of Columbia support groups in Boston turned out Friday afternoon to condemn Massachusetts' Senators John Kerry's and Ted Kennedy's support of a $1.3 billion military aide package to Columbia. This aide package represents a continuation of the misguided U.S. policies to deal with the drug problem both here and abroad.
This is the first call to action on anything like this. This will evolve just as everything has, but we must realize that if we are to promote change in society we must be able to embrace change ourselves.
