Watching politics today can be somewhat disappointing. In two successive elections we opted for unique change. We selected people that were specifically advertized as different. We chose people that were said to be cut from a different cloth. Not only were they promoted that way, the competition even helped advertize them as being cut from a different cloth. The candidates of change said different things and spoke differently from what we'd heard over the past few decades. These were fighters with a level of urgency in their voices and supposedly they meant it... and we bought it.
